This class aims to take a light-hearted, yet thorough approach to math while highlighting real life applications! We cover the standard algebra readiness topics to prepare students for the variety of topics that they will be exposed to in high school. Through an eclectic mix of activities and assignments, we will navigate the mathematical landscape and build up the foundation of preliminary mathematics. The topics are wide ranging and the problems range in difficulty from standard to quite challenging. Logic and thinking skills form the basis of the lessons as we progress through pre-algebra.
