Location:
St. James
2033 E. Washingtong Blvd.,
Pasadena, CA 91104
A continuation and evolution of Math Foundations 1 (2018). This class will aim to reaffirm and expound on the topics covered last year. The students will uncover relationships and patterns in math through activities, explorations, problem solving, and even games! Meant to build the foundation for upper middle school math, we will cover everything from fractions and decimals to graphs and rates.
Interweaving mathematical intuitions with conceptual foundations, the students will come out of this class with a deeper understanding of math. In this class, our goal will be to prepare the students for algebra concepts and techniques. Covering an introductory pre-algebra curriculum, we will give them many of the skills they need to succeed in high school math.
